Is This Program Legitimate?
Yes, this is a legitimate program and is accredited by the PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) as a recognized education program. Taking this program allows you to meet the requirements to take the PTCE. This can be verified by looking up AA School of Pharmacy on their website .
How Does This Work?
During our fast paced program we teach you the skills of a pharmacy technician, while covering all the objectives you need to know for the PTCE (pharmacy technician certification exam). Upon completing this class you will receive a certificate of completion, allowing you to sit for the certification exam. Once you pass the exam you will be a certified pharmacy technician and can work in pharmacies like CVS, Walgreens, and hospital pharmacies.
Do I Need Prior Experience/Education to Take This Course?
The only prior experience required is a high school diploma or GED.
Where Are You Located?
We are based in Mississippi, but we offer an online zoom class that can be taken in other states
What Do I Need For Class?
To log on to the class you can use any device with the zoom app, we recommend a tablet or laptop so it is easier to see the notes, but you can use your phone. You will need notecards, a calculator, and materials to take notes with ex. Notebook, pen/pencil, highlighter.
Where Do I Take The Exam?
The exam is given in person. There are Testing Centers located all over the US, we help you locate the one closest to you. The exam is also currently being offered online.
